yore starts the new year off on the good foot with a four-tracker from the dutch duo morning factory thats remarkably accomplished for a first release. expertly manning the controls are two gentlemen from the netherlands, jean-pierre van der leeuw and jozef lemmens, who clearly produce a high-octane electronic body music thats timeless and fresh.
manaboo is a duo made up of brendon moeller and shigeru tanabu. these two friends first met in ny in 2003 and began jamming on music. shigerus guitar antics can be heard on many a beat pharmacy track. it is their mutual love of jazz, dub and techno that is the insiration for this ep.
great support by: dop, 3 channels, swag, jay shepheard, perc, thomas schumacher, glimpse, xpress 2, jeff mills .....

ok now. we got our new storming release on highway ready to rock! body-movin, heavily dub influenced and indemand ep by wols (a new dubby astrobard-hop project by krasnodar based modul guys well known for their level, harthouse, pro-tez and ostwind appearances and distinctive deep electronica sound). this hot piece of wax will surely take you on a fully energized trip. original >bushmans oversized vibe< is a heavy ethnic floor stomper - broken, flowing and absolutely magnetic. filled with headbanging twisted vocal cuts and ancient mojo rhythms it will launch your spirit far beyond the neighbourhood. this is a definetely high quality explosive vibe tribe dub-unit! but even dont try to stop here - continue the ride with great remixes by guti (from desolat stables run by loco dice) and greg parker ...
vinyl only release, limited to 500 handnumbered copies!
4 live recorded tracks with that special raw feeling, bridging the gap between techno and house.
jacksonville (leeds u.k) releases his first original track for thug records. the release also coincides with the launch of our vinyl arm and marks a new direction and ethos for thug records. after being heavily inspired by a 4 month trip to berlin in late 2009 and by a number of fantastic labels and artists in the u.s.a, we have decided to make shift back to a more organic platform. to quote levon vincent, the medium is the message. now for the tracks, dusk is a deep, bumping techno gem that grinds and pulsates with smatterings of acid, drum hooks and creepy vocal stabs.
on the remix front, one of our all time favourite producers, abe duque (nyc), does what he does best and turns out an incredibly twisted dance floor beast. both tracks here bring the noise. hope you enjoy...
we are delighted to announce laid 006 a three tracks compilation featuring one of our core artists mr. john roberts, one of our all time favourite producers mr. fred p. as black jazz consortium and hysteric newcomer the sea

this new ep retraces ceephaxs history and its very own personal and genious way to appropriate a musical style with always such generosity. from the dubstep of souley man, the sunset dancefloor hit bacardi breezer, the drum n bass track dona hue, the break bit track turrican 2 to ticker train, an acid bomb that defies anybody to not let themselves get carried away by these wild bpm.
spectrum recordings returns after a lengthy break to bring in the new year with a bang! 2 brand new tracks with the vibes straight of detroit circa 1993, brought up to date in a 2010 style, all courtesy of mat puffett - aka future beat alliance.
>diagram< has already caused a stir with its gruff roaring bassline juxtapositioned against the warm uplifting strings and pads. this is an intelligent and beautiful piece of electronic music, but still has the weight to work on the dancefloor and will appeal to a wide range of house and techno djs.
the flipside >crying sine< is a hypnotic groover surrounded by lush, atmospheric pads and spacey percussion: its also very dj friendly and across the board support is expected.
spectrum have taken a look back to move forward, and manage to sound as current as ever in an ode to the glory days of techno.
the d arcangelo brothers somehow forgot about the downtempo side of things for this ep on the warm and freaky 030303 imprint. unlike on their releases for rephlex we hear mid and highspeed chicago influenced stuff thats a big treat for fans of gescom, stinkworx and afx (some stuff brings back memories of his helston flora mix of baby fords normal). mind you, theres still a distinctive d arcangelo sound to all of this jackin. what are all those false and sleepy melodies for? to confuse us? what a mindfuck this psychedelic minialbum is!
dirty, sleazy, mean and in your face pumping chicago electrotechno jack from upcoming the hague talent baz reznik on the ever impressive sd records label. it has that beloved la haye roughness that makes it essential for sweaty, hypnotic dancefloors and dark afterparties.

seth troxler: >nuno dos santos mix is killer.<
the berlin-based dj and producer eva be is no newcomer to the international dance-music scene. 2 years ago she released her long-player >moving without travelling< on bestseven / sonar kollektiv records creating her very own trademark dub-influenced electronic sound. this ep is the logical continuation of her musical output as she has been djing quite a heavy 4/4 sound in the last years playing alongside best works records djs andre lodemann, roland appel and alex barck of jazzanova in places such as goa/madrid, cookies/berlin, dampfzentrale/bern, etc.
>new crack< combines an electronic dub driven bass sound with classic old-school house influences - dancefloor business. darko essers mix is more intrecate giving the orginal a more dramatic crystalline twist. last but not least andre lodemanns previously unreleased remix of eva bes tune >she walks alone< sees the light.
wt records keeps them coming with the first release from unknown american producer, jon beall. he wears his influences on his shoulder, however unaware of them he is. this record is for fans of squadra blanco, ross 154, nu groove, and >they live<. incredible 12, check!
alex o. smith aka omar-s does it again, mixing up the rough with the smooth in his wonderfully titled >plesetsk cosmodrome ep< (named after the russian space port of the same name). the first two tracks >kosmos 1402< and >plesetsk cosmodrome< have a old larry heard kind of feel to them, you should check the title track which has one of the most infectious basslines i have heard in a while. the drum machine lead closing track >skynet 2b< is omar s at his rawest. classic fxhe vibes, miss this one at your peril.
